With the Instagram magazine Philosophy Two-Star, which has 66,000 followers, VAN is launching The Sheerit, an independent youth press. The name means the remnant, carrying the sense of keeping truth amid confusion and rebuilding public discourse on the ruins. Incorporation and formal press registration are in progress.
The Sheerit will operate as a news organisation with reporting, interviews, writing and editing across politics, society, economy, international affairs and culture, publishing bylined articles. Video production, card news and social content, advertising and sponsorship, and institutional partnerships are handled by VAN bureaus.
Cooperation is under discussion with several university societies and youth organisations, including joint reporting teams and co-planned series drawing on each group’s expertise.
